Insert two WHAT?

So, I'm trying to do a little partition mangling so I can install Vista Ultimate. The program requires me to format two 1.44M floppy disks.

Floppy disks? Why not put the *&#!% things on an 8-track?

Funny thing, I only have 3 disks to my name and 1 of them is corrupt.

Well, the one inside the computer is a late model from the Paleozoic era so it doesn't work very well. The other one I have is a USB floppy drive that came with my laptop (I think it must be a running joke at Dell or something)

I have lots of 3-1/2" disks around. I always grab any I see when dumpster diving. There is a little nylon tab inside most of them, under the non-woven cleaning fabric, which makes a great toothpick.

I don't have any either. I can put my mom's whole computer on a 2GB USB drive...
