Florida town plans to use eminent domain

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla., Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Officials of a poor, predominantly black Florida town plan to relocate about 6,000 residents to make room for a billion-dollar yachting and housing complex.

The coastal community of Rivera Beach in Palm Beach County may use eminent domain, if necessary, to claim 400 acres of land for the project, The Washington Times reported Monday.

"This is a community that's in dire need of jobs, which has a median income of less than $19,000 a year," Mayor Michael Brown said. "If we don't use this power, cities will die."

Do you get it now? Do you understand the threat to our way of life yet? Six thousand [bleep]ing people folks. We’re not talking a handful of houses to expand a highway, we’re talking 2000 homes to build a [bleep]ing Yacht Club.

The government isn’t here to help you. The government isn’t going to look out for your best interests. All the whining by liberals won’t change that fact one iota. The government is big business now, able to barter your land at a fraction of its worth to the highest bidder. And guess what? You don’t get any of that bid.

Democrats want more government to protect the little man. What do you think now? You think all your welfare programs are going to help 6000 displaced people? It didn’t. And when this goes through, wait until every poor person in the US is tossed on their keister to make way for Wal-Marts and high end auto dealerships. Then what will you do? Implement more government to displace even more poor people?

But I can say one good thing about Democrats, they’re not the [bleep]ing liars the Republicans have become. Small government my ass. Republicans have become the very thing we elected them into the office to displace.

If this hasn’t sunk in yet let me explain it again. You’re entire neighborhood could be demolished to make room for a new mall. You’re street could be razed for a string of Starbucks and Gas Stations. You no longer own your own home!!!!!!

I’m so spitting mad right now…….
