Saw Revenge of the Sith this weekend. I enjoyed most of it, even through the wooden acting. However, I was rather impressed with the reaction from the crowd when any politics came up. People giggled.
No shit. They laughed. Especially at the ‘You’re either with me or my enemy’ part. And when we walked out, the overall tone of the conversations were ‘Not bad, but geez, what’s up with all the stupid political statements?’.
Why didn’t you simply have Natalie Portman say something like ‘Ani, don’t you think George W. Bush is a poopy head?’ and stop it right there.
Now I’ve heard you might make more movies. Cool, I’ll probably watch them. And like most people with muliple digit IQ’s, I’ll dismiss your pathetic attempts at political commentary.
