I await the day when the only war you will find is in history books. I will cherish the moment that Muslims can sit down with Jews and share a laugh over coffee. I relish the time when there are no guns because there is no need for guns, when people realize that it is better to live in peace and harmony and help those who need it.
Because, on this day when all weapons are gone, when all need for fear has been wiped off the face of the earth, I shall pick up my ‘shovel of death’ and proceed to take over the world.
Update:It appears that my plans for total domination have been squashed by the Mrs. who hid the ‘shovel of death’ in hopes that I might accidentally pick up the ‘rake that instills fear into leaves’. Then, as I traipse off on my reign of terror, she would leap out from behind a tree and say “Hey! Since you already have the rake out…..” and my plans would be cast asunder in trade for a weekend’s worth of grueling yard work. So while the weeds in the back have reason to quake, the rest of you are off Scott free for the moment.
