Ok, here’s my prayer
Dear Lord, I’ve not asked for much lately. You’ve provided me and my family well. My daughter is beautiful and intelligent, I have a job that allows my wife to stay at home, and our second daughter is on the way and doing great. I’ve recently heard of someone in need of your assistance, namely a Mr. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi who was reportedly wounded in battle. Oh Lord, you know this man. He has provided you with a large influx of souls into heaven. I pray for this man. I pray that you use your healing powers to assure whatever it is that has befallen him doesn’t kill him yet keeps him in writhing agony for years to come. I beseech thee to ensure complications arise from his wounds. Lord, I pray that while laying immobilized on a makeshift bed of rocks in a cave that you will send to this man a thousand biting insects to keep him company. And, Allah be willing, when no one else is looking, may Abu’s bodyguard be overcome with joy and gaiety and brutally sodomize the bastard. Oh great one, hear our calls to you. And when it comes time to take Abu away from us, please Oh Lord let there be a live cable feed from hell where we can watch as he receives his eternal reward. Amen
