Let's pretend for a second that the blogosphere was around on November 9, 1989. I wonder how lefty bloggers like Kos and Oliver "Thank You Mr. Soros, May I Have Another?" Willis would have viewed the tearing down of the Berlin Wall?

Kos: The tearing down of the wall is simply, in my estimation, an exercise in pretty pictures.

O-Dub:  You know, I really wish Germany were having an honest, safe, real unification. But that isn't happening, and that's a shame.

I don't understand what makes someone 'liberal' any more. I thought liberals wanted the best for people, that they wanted people to enjoy freedom. Here are the Iraqis, slowly getting the taste of that freedom and liberty, and all they can do is bitch and moan.

Whether you supported the war or not, it has already been done. The SaaM Way-Back machine can't even change that. Now is the time, regardless of how you feel the war went, to help the Iraqi peoples become a free and self-reliant nation.

I can understand that many people have issues with how things are being done. I would consider most of them to be armchair quarterbacks. I know when I watch football, it is easy for me to see that a particular running play was a bad idea. But I have the advantage of 98 camera angles, Tivo, and Madden explaining how the nickel defense worked. Most pundits on Iraq fall into the same category.

But for those of you complaining who actually have experience or those who think they know enough about foreign politics, why don't you come up with detailed suggestions instead of long, drawn out rants that equal nothing more than insults?
