Remember the Weatherman who got canned for the so called "racial slur" against MLK? Wizbang has the audio. Clear as a bell slip of the tongue (doesn't even pronounce the 'n' at the end of koo). The real kicker - the portion was prerecorded! There are editors who are more at fault than this poor schmuck.
Now, I am not going through a bunch of hue and cry about the company's firing of this guy. From a business perspective, it probably was the quickest thing they could do to satiate the real racists who jump at any opportunity to stick it to the man. It's their call and I really couldn't care less.
But I said from the beginning that I bet you'd be able to tell there was a misspeak and not an intentional. And, not being a mind reader, I am giving the dork the benefit of the doubt. In a world full of real racism, it does no one any good to go attacking speaking accidents.
