This post has been rescinded. While directing my anger at a stupid comment, I failed to pay the proper respect to the men who died whom the post was supposed to honor.

That is what he said. Just like the Kerry Kamp jumped all over Bush for saying you can't win the war against terror John has shoved his foot up to the ankle into his mouth with this one.

Terror, as a whole, cannot be wiped off the face of the earth. We still have in the US the Mob which is just as much a terrorist organization as Al Qaeda in my book. But we can wipe out the ability for the terrorists to operate out in the public and make their lives so damned difficult that only the most seriously deranged would dare persue the lifestyle.

Kerry wants to treat this like a police action, and that just won't work. It was a stupid remark to make that we should go back to a better time of Cole bombings, Bali and Marine Barracks, where terrorists only attack us in other lands. I took great offence at that statement, and yes, I read quite a bit beyond it too.
