Well, the weekends for me are usually quiet when it comes to the blogging scene. I shot a wedding on Saturday that was a tad bit nerve wracking because some of my equipment malfunctioned and I ran out of storage (I shoot 100% digital). Plus I took the formals, something I'd never done before in my life. It turned out OK.

Since that took up my entire Saturday and much of my Sunday was spent either with the family or getting the photos ready for my client, I skipped reading all my blogs. It was no surprise to me when I had 300+ unreads this morning.

Lessee, what's going on? Rathergate, Memogate, CBS, Rather, Blogs on CBS, NYT talking about forgeries.....hmmm I see a pattern.

I know, I know, this is a big development and I've no right to tell a blogger what he or she should blog about. But my favorite blogs are now Rathergate blogs and I'm burned out on the story. All that can be told now are those miniscule details such as which fax machine was used to receive the documents or the GPS coordinates of the Kinkos in Texas.

My mind has already been made up. Rather and CBS are shitty sources for news. Nothing short of Rather's head on a pike with a pink slip shoved up his nose* would make me feel any different and I never watched 60 Minutes in the first place anyway.

I should blog about my cat. That'd be good.

*Not to be taken literally. I'd hate to ruin a good pike.
