Look, I've said it before in other's comments but let me try to make the point here in my own space.
It is perfectly OK to admit that the memos that CBS produced are forgeries. I know those of you on the left want them to be true because they would be damning evidence against Bush, but it's time to wake up and smell reality. If you absolutely must place your point of view on a non-letterhead, questionable memo from someone's personal file that appears to only have been able to be typed on a high-end machine not widely available by someone whose own family said that he didn't type, then you might want to rethink your premises.
But the fact remains that these documents do not prove one way or the other whether or not Bush failed to meet his obligations! This goes for both left and right. So, you can continue to believe that Bush used his family connections to shirk his duty if you want, just don't try to use these documents to bolster your case. It is back firing already.
Also, as a little hint, you might want to ensure that these kinds of things get brought up consistently. No one seemed to care that Clinton never served. No one harped on Al Gore's military career during the 2000 election cycle, and there was plenty of speculation that daddy got him a cake walk assignment. If this information is so critical to electing an official, you need to make sure you apply it consistently.
