That didn't take long. The King of Deception cries like a baby and gets it all wrong as usual. Check out this lovely tidbit
Moore wrote a letter to Timmins, and posted it on his web site Monday night. "What country do you live in? Last time I checked, Las Vegas is still in the United States. And in the United States, we have something called 'The First Amendment.' This constitutional right gives everyone here the right to say whatever they want to say. All Americans hold this right as sacred. Many of our young people put on a uniform and risk their lives to defend it. My film is all about asking the questions that should have been asked before those brave soldiers were sent into harms way," he wrote.
How blazingly stupid do you have to be to think that the First Amendment gives you the right to an audience? Good lord, my 2 year old could understand that concept.
Rondstadt was paid to sing, not preach politics. Just because she was duped into joining the Moore Church of Lies doesn't grant her any special 'rights' to avoid the consequences of her actions. People booed and left, no shit that she was fired. If I come into work and decide to start preaching Scientology instead of coding my employer has every right to fire my ass.
Also, notice how Moore pulls up his "I Support Our Troops" schtick when it suits him fine? Since fatboy says this war is about oil, how would those men and women be protecting free speech? Moore must buy his morals at a convenience store.
But back to the point. Moore is an ass. He is using people's irrational hatred of Bush to put more money in his pocket. He couldn't give a shit less if Rondstadt was beaten and gagged by Boy Scouts unless it made him a buck.
And just because I can...
