Corporal Hassoun, the Marine who was reported as being murdered but then reported as not, has now apparently been "moved to a safe place"

Al-Jazeera said the statement it received Monday said Hassoun had promised not to go back to the American military.

Something here is starting to raise a big, red flag. When all is said and done, I think we're going to find out quite a bit of strange information regarding this case.

However, lest I be accused of moving goal posts, let me say this important statement.

I wish for Corporal Hassoun's safe return. Regardless of the circumstance, I do not wish harm upon anyone. If Hassoun is guilty of foul play, then I hope the American Military court system will administer the appropriate response. If he is not, then I hope the court clears his name.

I know there are plenty of people who will hear pieces of data about Hassoun's deserting and scream that the terrorists can have their way with him. No human should be put through that. We as Americans must trust in our legal system to find the truth. Until then, we wait and pray for the best.
